This warranty applies exclusively to new Afghan and Persian hand-knotted rugs purchased directly from Mahvash Rugs Ltd. It covers:

  • Structural integrity of the knots
  • Pile durability and resilience
  • Fringes and edging under regular home conditions

Defects in materials or craftsmanship that occur under normal use

❌ What’s Not Covered

To ensure clarity, the following are not covered by this warranty:

  • Rugs that are not hand-knotted (e.g., machine-made, tufted, loom-knotted, dye sublimation, or woven rugs)
  • Damage resulting from improper care (e.g. incorrect cleaning methods), misuse, or excessive wear
  • General wear and tear from commercial or outdoor use
  • Natural variations in colour, texture, fading, or minor irregularities due to the handmade nature of each rug
  • Issues caused by:
    • Spills or liquid exposure
    • Pet activity (chewing, scratching, accidents)
    • Harsh chemicals or unapproved cleaning products
    • Professional cleaning services not recommended by us
